Ok, I have looked at lots of answers to flea infestation problems and I am totally empathizing with everyone out there and their pets who are suffering from these critters. My question is this. In a few days, I am moving from a flea-infested apartment to a flea-free house. What's the best way to insure the fleas stay behind? Treat the cats with the Frontline drops (that I have used faithfully every month, but they do very little when your environment was already over-run with fleas) and THEN move them out of the apartment? Or bring them into the NEW house and then treat them with the Frontline? Won't the eggs that are on them fall into the new house and begin hatching and then I'll have the same problem all over again? None of the vets or groomers in my area will flea dip my cats because they are both over 10 years of age. Any help would be SO greatly appreciated. My cats and I thank you.

Our two black cats have had fleas and we have recently treated them with advantage from the vets, which should start to work in the next 48 hours but we still have fleas in our house. We have vacuum our carpets and tried using R.I.P flea spray for the house but nothing seems to have worked! Has anyone used a flea spray for house that worked?
I have fles bombed the house twice?

I have a flea infestation! I got rid of my cats, but can't get rid of the bugs. I thought I had most of them, but it seems that new ones have hatched(they are much smaller than the first round). I vacuum and I sprayed the furniture with an IGR insecticide. I am pregnant and don't want to use too many chemicals in the house, but I have to get rid of the fleas. It seems we have more now than when I started. I bought one of the flea traps with the light and glue pad and that works well, but it is very localized, it doesn't get them all. Can fleas breed if there are no animals in the house? I read that they lay eggs after a blood meal, does that mean human blood? I haven't noticed them biting too much, though. Any suggestions? Any help is greatly appreciated!

We have a new 11 week old puppy (a poo-chi) he has fleas and we've given him 2 baths already in less than a week and have put the flea collar on him but he still has fleas. I'm really worried the fleas will get on my 10 month old baby and because she crawls around on the carpet...What's the easiest quickest and best way to get rid of the fleas without harming the puppy but ensuring that the baby is safe on the carpet?
